The San Francisco Half Marathon, 10K & 5K operates on an
Event Alert System (EAS) to help ensure participant safety.

Please review EAS levels and stay tuned for EAS announcements on race weekend. The anticipated Event Alert System (EAS) Flag Color for race day is GREEN (Low Risk: Good Conditions).

Event Safety and Weather Update

• The weather forecast calls for high of 61°F, and a low of 48°F. Winds will be light, under 8 mph with gusts up to 14 mph. No rain is currently forecasted.
• The anticipated Event Alert System (EAS) Flag Color is GREEN (Low Risk: Good Conditions).
• Trained medical personnel will be on-site for the event.
• The San Francisco Half Marathon, 10K & 5K maintains close contact with public safety officials. They have not expressed safety or security concerns about the event.
• Any updates regarding weather or safety concerns will be communicated via email, at sanfranciscohalfmarathon.org, and social media on Facebook and Instagram.
